Barcelona Star Raphinha Leaves Brazil Camp Early Due to Injury

Barcelona winger Raphinha has returned to Catalonia ahead of schedule, leaving his national team duties with Brazil on Wednesday. This decision stems from an injury scare for the former Leeds United player.

Raphinha played from the start in Brazil's recent friendly against Australia on Tuesday, converting a penalty in their 4-2 victory. However, he was substituted at halftime and replaced by Real Madrid's Endrick, with reports later confirming a fitness concern.

Following discussions between Barcelona and the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), the collective decision was made not to risk aggravating the issue with their in-form forward.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano reported: "Raphinha leaves Brazil camp and returns to Barcelona with immediate effect. Decision follows minor muscle issue suffered vs Australia on Tuesday."

The injury is not considered serious, but caution is being exercised to avoid any long-term problems.
