Flick: Barcelona's Joan García dealing with knee issues
Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has shared an update on goalkeeper Joan García. García's condition raised concerns in Barcelona on Wednesday evening.
Barcelona recently played a La Liga match at Spotify Camp Nou against Racing Santander. The team secured a decisive 7-2 victory, marking another strong start to the season.
Despite the win, an injury scare added a sour note to the day. Just before halftime, Joan García slipped while trying to retrieve the ball. He appeared to sustain a muscular injury and did not return for the second half, with Wojciech Szczęsny taking his place in goal.
Following the match, Hansi Flick addressed the media about the status of his number one goalkeeper. Flick stated:
"Joan had some knee issues. We have to wait to know exactly what is going on."
