Inter Milan Travels for Real Madrid Clash Without Star Performer

Real Madrid will not have to face one of Inter Milan's standout players in their upcoming match against the Italian side.

This is confirmed by the news that Federico Dimarco has been ruled out of the fixture.

Real Madrid is set to commence their latest continental campaign on Tuesday night. Fresh off their first defeat of the season against Real Betis last weekend, Los Blancos are scheduled for a Champions League opener against the aforementioned Inter Milan.

Manager José Mourinho and his staff will be forced to manage without several key players for the evening, with Bernardo Silva, Arda Güler, and Rodrygo unavailable due to injury or suspension.

However, as mentioned, Real Madrid are not the only team facing player shortages heading into the clash at the Bernabéu. According to a report from COPE:

"Inter have already traveled to Madrid for Tuesday's match. They are traveling without Dimarco. The left-back felt discomfort in his knee during Saturday's match against Napoli."
