Kylian Mbappé Defends Real Madrid Amid Injury Diagnosis
Real Madrid's prominent forward, Kylian Mbappé, offered a staunch defense of the club and, specifically, its medical staff on Wednesday. This intervention follows a period of intense scrutiny and criticism directed at the Spanish capital's medical department.
Recent reports had heavily scrutinized Real Madrid's medical team, alleging a significant misdiagnosis concerning Mbappé's recent injury. Several media outlets even claimed that the club's doctors mistakenly performed scans on the Frenchman's right knee when the injury was, in fact, to his left knee. This supposed error allegedly led to Mbappé returning to play before being fully fit, resulting in a subsequent setback.
While on international duty, Mbappé addressed the swirling speculation during a media exchange. Unsurprisingly, questions regarding the controversy surrounding Real Madrid's medical practices were put directly to the prolific goalscorer.
However, Mbappé utilized the opportunity to express his unwavering support for his employers, firmly stating: "The information that Real Madrid examined the wrong knee is not true. We’ve always had clear communication with Real Madrid." His statement aimed to dispel the rumors and reinforce confidence in the club's medical procedures and internal communication.
