Real Madrid's 18-Year-Old Talent Alexis Ciria Impresses José Mourinho in Pre-Season
A promising young attacker has significantly impressed new manager José Mourinho during Real Madrid's pre-season preparations.
According to insider Álvaro Esteban, the player generating this buzz is Alexis Ciria.
Ciria, an 18-year-old winger, recently transferred to Real Madrid from Sevilla earlier this year and initially joined the club's Castilla squad.
His strong performances led to a call-up for first-team pre-season training in Madrid last month. The young Spaniard has seized this opportunity this summer.
After participating in Real Madrid's recent friendly matches against Fiorentina and Ferencváros, Ciria has reportedly captured José Mourinho's attention.
Journalist Álvaro Esteban reported:
"Mourinho is very satisfied with Alexis Ciria. 'The Special One' might continue to give him playing time in the remainder of the preseason. A goal against Fiorentina and an assist against Ferencváros. Total audacity."
