Rodri Set to Occupy Ferran Torres' Former Barcelona Residence

Manchester City midfielder and Spanish international Rodri is reportedly preparing to take over the residence of outgoing Barcelona forward Ferran Torres. This potential property handover coincides with both players' imminent moves, one leaving Catalonia's capital and the other arriving.

Ferran Torres is nearing his departure from Barcelona. Having reportedly reached an agreement on contract terms with Paris Saint-Germain, the 26-year-old forward is anticipating the club's approval of his transfer in the coming days.

Conversely, Rodri is keen on relocating to Barcelona. After a significant period with Manchester City, the midfielder, who is a Ballon d'Or contender, has apparently chosen a move to Barcelona over their rivals, Real Madrid.

If these transitions proceed as planned, Ferran Torres and Rodri may arrange a personal arrangement regarding the property, independent of their club transfers.

According to a report from Gerard Romero, shared on his Twitch stream and cited by Mercato Blaugrana on X:

"Rodri will live in Ferran Torres's house. He has already spoken with Ferran to take over his house. So there you have it, it's done, it's a done deal.

Ferran, already on his way to Paris, tells him: 'Rodri, don't worry, I'm leaving you my house.'"
