Spain Coach Discusses Eric García's Injury Status
Spain's head coach, Luis de la Fuente, has shared details regarding the condition of Barcelona player Eric García. García missed the team's recent match against England due to an issue that arose during pre-game warm-ups.
García was part of the traveling squad for La Roja's Nations League fixture at Wembley. However, just before the game, it was announced he would be unavailable after experiencing discomfort during the warm-up.
Following Spain's 3-2 victory in London, De la Fuente addressed the media about García's situation.
"Eric experienced a minor issue during the warm-up. It doesn't seem serious," De la Fuente stated. "We'll assess his condition upon our return to Madrid to see if he can recover. We won't take any risks with the player. While the injury currently appears minor, we are unsure if he will be fit for any of the upcoming games."
