Swap deal? Atlético Madrid keen admirers of Barcelona star
Atlético Madrid's sporting director, Mateu Alemany, reportedly holds a strong admiration for Barcelona forward Ferran Torres.
This insight comes from transfer journalist Matteo Moretto, who recently offered an update on the Spanish international's future.
Speculation regarding Ferran Torres' situation has intensified in recent weeks. Despite his contract running until summer 2027, Barcelona has not yet finalized plans for the former Manchester City player.
A summer sale remains a possibility, given significant interest in Torres from clubs within and outside Spain.
Among the potential suitors emerging for the 26-year-old in the coming months is La Liga rival, Atlético Madrid. Moretto emphasized Alemany's high regard for Torres, stating he is "one of the players Mateu Alemany likes the most."
This interest sparks questions about a potential player-plus-cash exchange, possibly involving Barcelona target Julián Alvarez moving to the Camp Nou next season.
